Hi fish what your thoughts on ascend program which is happening in globallogic for 2.9 year experience, for me they are offering package of 7.3 lpa this is going to be the my first switch as per my current package they have given almost 70% hike also I also asked for same. When I see people of my experience getting 12-15 LPA It seems I have to consider other options also I am serving notice period. Please suggest. GlobalLogic

Does TCS provide joining bonus?
I started working in TCS on 10th June 2021 and my LWD is 12th June 2022. According to the rules i should be eligible for the retention bonus but my HR is saying i probably will not get it. You don't need to do anything. Just sit back and relax, unless contacted by HR again. After a month or so, you'll get resignation acceptance mail as well. Then in the last 10-15 days, you'll need to complete the formalities communicated to you.
You can talk to your manager initially for early release from project. Once you're on bench, you have high chances of HR agreeing to leave you early.

Once you receive acknowledgement mail from HR , there will be one more automated mail with LWD , after that separation officer will contact you in last 45 days, so nothing to do until then... Regarding early release, you would need to discuss it with your manager, once he agrees then talk with HR for early release/buyout whichever you have the option... I hope it helps!
You will recieve one more mail in the last month of notice period. Start chasing seperation officer after that to get clarity. They will send you some docs which you need to fill but can't send outside tcs mail.
In my case they locked my system 2 days before LWD and TCS Hr reached to me one day after my LWD when I lost all my access. Luckily I had taken the pics of those docs, so filled them again and sent.
Now they have a SLA to initiate your process in the system within 3 days of intimation. Once that is done you can ask about your LWD and start discussing with your manager for an early release. After that they'll just wait until the last month for discussions.
All the above response are guiding enough.
But there is a separation workflow where you can track the status and LWD. I do not remember where it was actually but I hope you can find through knowmax - separation policy

I'm the support lead and there's a lot of dependency on me, I doubt whether my manager will approve.
If it was a discussion with just the HR I would've stood some chance. But I'll give it a shot anyway.
Will go ahead and declare my last working day at the new company as 30th September for now. If I get an early release will ask to update.

no matter what dependency you have it's. 30% max in counter. Others are non trustable. once you resigned think of moving out. There is no word called dependency. Till 2.5 months will check ur replacement . In between manager might offer you an onsite.
