Resources to brush up on product strategy?

I'm currently interviewing for group product manager and head of product roles. I want to brush up on product strategy skills to make sure that I'm prepared to answer any questions that interviewing for this type of role would bring. Looking for articles, books, courses--anything that might be helpful.

I have 25 yoe with 14 yoe in product. I think I'm falling short at presentation.

Making a switch from software engineer to product management.
I have been a one man show for most of my projects in years prior and have lead 2-3 engineers and 2 BAs on my recent projects.

How difficult is it to make a switch? 12 years experience in IT.

Is it common to offer signing bonuses for product managers? I've only worked in small companies and I'm currently interviewing at a much larger company. I am expecting an offer this week, but the salary isn't quite where I want it to be. A signing bonus of 5 or 10k would make me feel so much better (obviously) but it would put me right where I want to be for salary this year. With product design questions, I struggle to identify user groups. Once I do everything starts flowing and I’m confident. But the initial identification of user groups is something I find challenging. What’s your go-to way of doing this? For example, the question “design a podcasting app for truck drivers.” What types of truck drivers can I select so that I can prioritize a user group to focus on and begin identification of pain points and solutions?

A colleague told me today that Google separates Product Manager and Product Owner as two separate roles. I believe that one PM role is preferred in the industry and most modern software companies, especially FAANG companies, only have PMs. Just curious what others have experienced and if I'm correct in my assumption.
