My current company just completed an acquisition. At first it seemed fine, but now they're referring to it as an acquisition/merger - should I be worried about my job as I'm part of the foundational sales team? The other company is mostly sales and marketing. If this is really a merger, I'm not sure what to expect...

My quota is based on invoiced sales that resets quarterly. This includes a sliding-scale commission % based on how far you’re at on your quarterly goal (towards quota) which is checked/paid once a month. The only thing that goes toward our quota is PAID sales. This excludes orders still being processed by DE (largest orders) and customers still within NET payment terms. We don’t get paid until the company gets paid. Am I missing warning potential? Am I being expected of A and judged on B?

I’ve heard great things about SaaS but I have no experience in SaaS sales and I was an Economics and Advertising double major in college so no correlation to SaaS there.

Hi everyone! I am about 8 months into my job as a BDR. my first job! It pays well and i love my coworkers. Its also fully remote which is nice bc i love flexibility. The problem i’m having is i dont really enjoy the job. I hate objection handling, and I get so stressed that i wont hit my goals. I also dont really like my AM i work with. I want to do a career path switch and I dont want to be an AM/SE. What are roles I could easily switch to?I thought about recruiting too but eh. please help!

My MBA concentration is global business, my BS was in management with a minor in professional writing. I've been working in cosmetics mainly on the customer service side, currently senior support for the CS team and have experience doing CS on social media.

Please share your thoughts: Deciding between an account manager job between Adobe and Databricks. Which would be better and why?

I am currently a CSR for a beverage company they provide a company vehicle but when it comes to commission if the whole team doesn’t make it to goal we do not get it. I have interviewed for a market development manager for a beverage company and they offer a 6$ per hour raise as well as a car package (pay miles and a small amount for upkeep) but I need to use my own car for the territory. I want to move up the sales career ladder but I don’t know if this is the way to do it.
