Mention the value of your client relationships and how that translated to tangible results for those clients. Have your account(s) grown during the time you've spent on them? If so, by how much? If you were responsible, even partly, for that growth, it's absolutely valid to mention that.

I’ve done dry January and a lot of weight melted off. I was already shooting to keep it going through to March. For super lean people (borderline Instagram models), do you still drink alcohol after your 20s? I remember a male stripper in Vegas told me he only drank a shot of vodka once a year 😂 and that was the extent of his drinking, but he looked great.

If your partner still sees their ex as a “friend “ would you believe them? I am having a very hard time accepting. Need tips to get over it? My partner is not constantly in touch with them but def end up meeting as part of their friend circle atleast once a month

Agree or disagree — for a B4 tax practice, service line partners are actually more Atkin to middle management and managers are not really “management” in the traditional sense. Ie, we have don’t really have much to say on the strategic direction of our practice.

As far as accounting advisory (CMAAS, FAAS, Etc) anyone have opinions on big 4 vs a more niche firm like Houlihan lokey or A&M? Currently at big 4 and thinking of moving out of audit, but not sure what the best next move is. As I understand it the smaller firms are more middle market, but can pay better and have better WLB? Anybody have any ideas on exit opps/other pro's and cons to consider? Thanks for your help!

Hi! I am currently an Early Childhood Teacher, but I am interested in becoming an Early Childhood Education instructor at a technical high school. It will be a big jump from teaching K to teaching high school students but I am really excited about the possibility of working with the next generation of teachers. Mistakes are the learned lessons to a better career. But every time I have made a mistake, it seems like it is the end of the world. I want to hear stories...of a time where you made a mistake and your superiors did not freak out, but used it as a lesson for you. does that exist anywhere?

Hi Account friends! It’s the start of a new year and I was hoping you all could share any book / newsletter / blog / course recommendations that help keep you up to snuff. Feeling a bit stale and like the last year has been a tactical grind. I want to brush up on modern thinking for our industry - the latest and greatest marketing books, strategy perspectives, creative self help, etc. to feel more alive as we start 2022.

Comment your favs and THANK YOU in advance!

Moving from AM to AD at another agency. Any words of advice?

Things to talk about with clients during downtime? Ya know, non-work related things to fill the air before a meeting. Usually I’m good at improvising & shooting the shit but I need some new material.

Do you guys get objectives or briefs anymore? Somehow I seem to be getting told more recently I need to tell them what we should do next year....

I'm noticing there is an increasing amount of discrepancy between a DSP and an Ad Server. The DSP is delivering in full while the Ad Server is not - showing about a 20%+ difference. Is anyone running into this issue and/or have a solve? Obviously this is hurting the sellers.

Accounts people, how do you find meaning in the work that you do?

I’m on my 2nd day of a new job and it’s nothing like what I was expecting or what the hiring manager said. On top of it, the clients I’m working with has these crazy, outdated brand guidelines that the team has to go by and the creative I’ve seen is just not that great (assuming it’s due to the clients branding). I just don’t know what to do, I feel like this isn’t the place for me but I haven’t even given it a full week yet. Has anyone experienced feelings like this before? What did you do?

How much salary bump can I expect / ask for when going from AAE to AE ? Been in the AAE role about a year.

Genuinely asking this. Apart from Billings and basic PM functions, what does client service actually do?

How should I deal with an overly ambitious AAE who says yes to everything/creates extremely aggressive timelines?

I have to chew everything she bites off, and I'm tired of it.

Interviewing for an account executive position at a marketing agency and they are asking for a salary range following my initial interview. I was making $62k at my last job which seemed severely underpaid, especially in Los Angeles. I would be fine with $85k but would definitely be more comfortable with around $92k. Does anyone have insight of what the best response of a salary range would be?

I don’t want to under ask but I don’t want to lose the opportunity by asking for too much.
