Ridiculous offers from competing agencies I'm in the Data and Analytics side of the house, but I know this is affecting everyone. Other agencies poaching analysts, managers, ADs, for what are 2 level up salary promotions. This cannot be sustainable (kids with 1 yr experience, pushing 100k+) What is the future of agency salaries going to be? Are we really going to right size all our paychecks or is this a bubble that will lead to underqualified senior levels being the norm?

Good. I'm in two hiring processes at the moment, earning below average for the work I do, and I could use at least a 30% bump.

Get ittttt.

Are you underqualified? Maybe you are currently undervalued? Good talent is hard to find and worth over paying for. Agencies are right sizing who gets paid well as client asks have changed.

Yeah, I do get underpaid, but only relative to the new salaries. What I thought was enough seems to be under what the market is currently doing. But I just started in my role, and am satisfied enough to give my agency time to right size based on my personal value. It's the folks reporting to me who I'm afraid I'll lose, and the roles I need to fill that I'm afraid we can't compete with on compensation

I’m seeing it a little - mostly on the salary end. We’re losing people to client side and vendor side as well as hiring from there and that’s driving up salaries. It’s not just agencies vs agencies. it’s client side, vendor side, research practices, etc I’m not seeing the hiring at off-levels. I guess it might depend what level you’re trying to hire at.

I only plan on staying in consulting for about 2 more years then off for an MBA. Would it be more worth it to take a level and pay raise at a different big4 moving to senior level rather than going to associate/analyst level at MBB? These are my two choices at the moment. I want to position myself best for post MBA jobs in industry. Salary will def be lower at MBB compared to the senior level at big4 so not sure if it’s worth the trade off in experience.
