Have anyone of you given the Amazon Online Assessment for MBA summer internship 2023? If so, how long does it take for Amazon to reach out with a decision about next round post OA ?
It’s been 2 weeks and I haven’t heard back anything yet. Looking to see if it’s the same with fellow applicants. Thank you

I know nothing.

Did you guys hear that?!
I keep hearing invoices! 😱
CFE/CFF are more of a rubber stamp to help sell forensics work to clients rather than a prerequisite to get into forensics. Personally I think they’re something you should do after you’ve already been in forensics for a while. You don’t really need either unless you’re just trying to signal your interest to recruiters and hiring managers but really networking would be the more effective route on that.
CFF is going to be far more useful in terms of learning material but also way harder and more time consuming. The CFE for some reason is much more recognized despite being an absolute cakewalk that you can get through in a week. So if you’ve decided you’re getting one regardless choose the CFF if you’re looking for a technical crash course on forensics and the CFE if you’re just looking for a cert to add to your resume
I tend to agree with a lot of what pwc2 said. If you are trying to get one before making a move into forensics (i.e. as a way to get interviews), CFE is probably the only one that you could realistically attain at this point. Its been a while since I got my CFF, but I don't think it's likely that you would meet the requirements at this point in time.
Forensics is great work and includes a variety of types of work beyond investigations, so keep that in mind as you figure out your path. I like investigations, but I find some of the most interesting work to be complex commercial disputes (especially damages type cases).
Don’t do ey forensics. If you want to pivot for forensics work like investigations and litigation support, look elsewhere. EY will bait and switch you and throw you on a covid engagement forever.
@A1 Top 10 (non B4) and Top 20 firms typically have an active lit support and investigations service line also. Those consulting firms mentioned are good, but just wanted to give you the info. It's what I've been doing for about a decade and love it.
I got rejected lol but I did enjoy the interview process with AlixPartners. Seems like they do some good work. I was looking to transition from tax to forensics but since you’re in audit and have GAAP exposure, you probably would be a much better candidate than I was. That is if you’re looking for firms to look into and at least one that I know about.
M2 - it was a week after the last step. The entire process was 1. conversation with a director for a referral, 2. HR screening, 3. superday interview with 4 people from the team (VP level and above), 4. week after it was a psychological assessment, 5. psychological interview. Took about 5 weeks in total.
Should be fairly easy to make the switch without obtaining CFF/CFE first. CPA w/ audit exp should be enough!

The AICPA will sell you the CFF. The CFE takes work and is more highly respected.
