Hi PwC 🐠, I’m a recent grad/early in my career exploring Consulting opportunities. I currently work for a research and advisory arm of a Fortune 5 company (Fishbowl app won’t change my username to my work email), and my role is heavily client facing. I’ve always been interested in Consulting. I recently applied and joined the recruitment process, and now have an Ace the Case workshop in the coming days. What should I expect? TYIA!

Hi Fishes,
How much time does Accenture take to come up with counter offer.
I have 3.5 yoe in SAP, lwd in 2 weeks. I cleared technical and had a salary discussion with HR on same day. They were offering 8.5 L fixed which is similar to the offer on hand with me, while I asked for more.
The HR was +ve and said will try for higer amount and not returning calls now. While some other person called to complete doc submission in portal.
They haven't put my profile on hold yet.😬
Any inputs are welcome.TIA.

Best farmers markets you’ve been to? 🤨
Anyone live at OneChicago? Thoughts? 🤨
Depends on how the first call went, if you feel like you had a good conversation you can send a follow up email a week or 2 after and ask what advice they have for how the best way to land an interview and move through the process. Coming out and asking for a referral might be too aggressive. Just remember these people are busy and may take time to respond- don't be announced with your communications
I meant annoying not announced... but you get the point👍🏼
Do they have on campus recruiting? If so, you don’t need to do anything. The recruiting team looks at all resumes and then talks about it. Whoever you spoke to may put in a good word for you.
I’m looking into economic consulting firms which unfortunately don’t come to my my campus. We also only get one MBB firm recruiting on campus.
My question was more directed towards the Econ consulting/other two MBB firms where all I’m doing is throwing my resume on an online portal after talking to some people - I just don’t know if anyone is vouching for me or if they even get the chance to do so.
I may be a total dotard with this question but wtf is a ‘rising [year in school]’? I’ve seen it but thought it was used in the summer when going from one level to the next. Middle of the school year here.
Yeah, fair point. I’m a junior - I have an internship lined up for the summer and I’m just starting to think about recruitment for full time.
