How big is OP’s wrist? I would say this is the heirarchy
1) NEW DJ36 with Fluted bezel on jubilee (blue or the new Black sunray)
2) OP39 (white)
3) Everything else.
Lol, M2
I always wanted the Oyster Perpetual Date Just but received that Oyster Perpetual (no date) as a gift from my spouse and couldn’t be any happier with it! (Sample size of 1)
Depends on if the date feature is important to you. I like having it but I also really like the clean look of no date. So I have 2 roles 1 with and 1 without. Honestly depends on how I’m feeling that morning
Most people just say “Datejust”, and more importantly is the size; Datejust 36 or Datejust 41. The Oyster Perpetual (also referred to as the “OP”, also comes in several sizes; OP34, OP36, and OP39.
I have the OP39 with white Dial and it’s spectacular. I’ve always found the DJ (short for Datejust) to be weirdly proportioned at 41mm, and 36mm wears just a tad small on my 7.5” wrist. The OP39 is near perfection; that said, the Datejust is a higher level piece, and comes with more polishing, easylink clasp, and blue chromalight Lume. The DJ also has the option of a jubilee bracelet, which is very comfortable but adds to the flashiness (especially if you opt for the solid Gold Fluted bezel)
