Rolling of my project EoY, been with the same client for 3+ years. I don't mind sticking with the same industry but will I face a lot of grief if I start look at projects in other industries?

I’m 6 weeks pregnant and work at a tiny agency where our boss hates structure and policy is all about the “just be an adult and communicate” approach to project management/feedback/vacation etc. which has been a nightmare. There’s no mat leave policy to speak of and no HR to talk to - just him. When should I tell him and what should I ask for? So dreading this convo. Was planning on looking for something else but not sure that’s something I have the energy for right now, esp in covid times 🙈

Should I give a verbal heads up to SM before my two weeks? Waiting to grab bonus then dropping my two weeks but new client engagement starts day after bonus. I'd be the manager for project.

On a project where my manager pushed me to get sign off by a deadline which wasn’t reasonable, so the final document didn’t go through a normal peer review process. Now I’m getting reamed out by the partner for an error while the manager is saying the deadline was “artificial” and “created by me”
