Non front office role - he has an offer from a consulting firm at +50% total comp but likes his job/boss and thinks he'll get promoted in the next cycle which will make up some of the delta. I told him a retention bonus could be a show of good faith since promo isn't guaranteed - I know a lot of others are offering one time bonuses to stem churn but not sure if back office banks are giving them
