Been at my firm for 3 years. Considered a “star” associate, doing things on time, etc. My boss randomly asks me to send him a list my assignments and the exact date I plan on “delivering” drafts to him. Thought this was strange but sent it with a caveat that the deadlines I put in are estimates and may change based on circumstances outside my control. He doesn’t respond to my email but forwards it to his assistant to have her calendar all my deadlines immediately. Anyone else think this is weird

@Deloitte 🐟 - what’s the salary range for “Business Analyst, Advisory - Technology Center" in Tier 2/3 city for an Experienced Hire?
Any resources I can use to learn how to analyze those candlestick graphs on Binance? Want to know the sell walls, resistance points, etc
Possible overseas role. Have family I can stay with instead of hotel. Should I mention it to project manager as a cost saving so I will get staffed there?
Anyone join Deloitte's cyber risk practice as an experienced hire recently? How long was your process and the gaps between the interviews? Seems to be taking a lot longer than I expected
Full flight to client site in Vegas because of a worldwide pornstar award show. What a time to be alive.
Is under 1 YOE too early to switch firms even if you have a referral? Will HR just throw your application out?
I just put an offer on a place and it was accepted. I’m also switching jobs before closing. Should I give everyone a head’s up since they may need to redo the numbers. Same salary, so no problem with DTI.
Anyone taking the CISA tomorrow?
Anyone from Warner Music Group (EMG) willing to throw a stranger a recommendation and/or tips to stand out when applying? 6YOE in the industry but no direct connections
I've seen folks around here ask for referrals to companies. I'm looking for a referral to KPMG's Data & Analytics practice at an equivalent level to EY manager (currently S3 here on track for promotion this upcoming year). How does that process usually work on this app? I'm open to other consulting firms as well but already have referrals for most of my targets. I specialize in AI & ML and my differentiator is being able to effectively translate between executives and data scientists.
Posted yesterday about getting into a wreck. My insurance has determined that I was not at fault. So the other insurance will likely pay. Do I ask them to reimburse me for the cars diminished value ??
As someone who has only worked at EY and has no other work experience or “passion,” how do I begin looking? I’m a high performer in CA with a cpa and working in tax but I don’t feel like I have enough time for myself with all the extra work from people leaving during the never ending busy seasons. I’m in my mid twenties and feel like work is my life. I think I’ll be satisfied with six figures for a while, which I’d be pretty close to after my raise in October anyways, and 40 hour work weeks.
For the current Marriott mega bonus, do you get a free night for EVERY two stays, or do you get a free night only for the FIRST two stays? Marriott website is not clear on this. Thanks.
How much do you value pay vs. experience? Been with the firm for a few years now and severely underpaid, but working on interesting projects and good people. Can probably get a 50% raise if I jump.
Up at 4am due to anxiety from being on the bench for 2 months. Questioning what’s wrong with me and why I’m having such a difficult time getting staffed in comparison to my peers.
