Stress. Single biggest contributor to hair loss and skin issues when bloodwork and general health are fine. I've been there and it sucks.
What did you do and how long did the hair loss last?
Yeah stress. My mom had to cut most of her hair recently because it just kept coming out. Things you can do to make your hair less brittle (which may stop it some) is take biotin, and vitamin e. Make sure you're not straightening or blow drying your hair daily. Keep it up in a LOOSE bun to protect your ends and keep it from getting caught on stuff.
Is your hair actually thinning? Or is this a new change? My hair seems to come out by the handful, but I have a lot of hair!
I agree decreasing stress would probably help and consider a hair, skin and nails vitamin.
Hair grows in cycles. If you're shedding more you may be making room for new growth.
Could also be what products you use on your hair. The tougher the styling product the more affects hair

Stress for sure. My hair gets noticeably thinner when I’m stressed. I take fish oil which helps. Tried biotin but made me break out
The winter is tough on my hair and skin. I generally lose a bunch of hair in the winter but it's fine in the summer. Try going for an oil massage or use warm coconut oil and massage it yourself before you shower. It helps
I've been having this issue. I'm just going to try the Rogaine that two dermatologists recommended.
I don't recommend oils if your hair doesn't absorb it very well. I once had to go through five washes to get rid of the coconut oil. Never again!
