Anyone else get super stressed/on edge/worried when your parents come to visit because your SO always seems to get into fights with them? Any advice to help the situation? Always feel like the middle man and can’t take it anymore.

Is anyone else worried about how HOT the lateral market is right now? My firm (and many peer firms) have been hiring like crazy and multiple of my law school friends (class of 2019) have lateraled into much more selective firms than their prior firms despite of being very junior. I’m definitely happy for them, but at the same time slightly concerned that we’re re-living the 2007 bubble. Please tell me I’m overthinking this...


Everyone says we need to find "a cure for cancer" and YES, definitely, but there are so many different types that we need at least 50 separate cures. More complex than people give it credit for. What does everyone here think?
