Runners! How to prevent IT band (runner’s knee) pain? I’ve got fairly strong glute/hamstring muscles, stretch consistently, and try not to heel strike. F 125 lbs.

Go do an x-ray to see what’s wrong with your knee and what’s actually causing the pain. I got a cortisone shot, it helped. I have a bunch of issues but no surgery needed as long as I do PT, but it obv varies by issue.

I’ve always found its glut related... when you say strong.... I’m F, 145lbs and I’m deadlifting 130lbs and don’t get IT pain anymore. Also I had weak glut medius, so I spent ages doing clams and leg lifts with bands. Your gluts can take a lot of load as they are the biggest set of muscles you have.

How far are you running? Does it start hurting after a long distance?

Careful, you could be harboring the injury even earlier on in the run, but not feel it due to adrenaline

I also understand that oral drugs such as letrazole are covered under the prescription plan and you only need to enroll and register in the fertility plan if you need IUI and the more rigorous treatments.

I am looking for a workout program that has a calendar and a set class/workout per day. I function better this way than what I’m currently doing (peloton app/peloton) where I waste a bunch of time trying to find the perfect class and don’t feel like there are any mental repercussions if i skip. I think the sweat app is similar to what I like (3-6 set workouts per week) but I’ve used that for years and am sort of tired of it. Any suggestions?

I requested a salary adjustment based on my responsibilities as a UXR. I’ve been in the role for nearly 2y and finally heard back about my salary adjustment.

I was expecting a 24% increase as I was severely underpaid but received an 18% increase. I realize this is still a great bump and I’m grateful for it but I also want to be paid fairly.
