Let’s say you have PTSD and that traveling is one the triggers. At what point would you bring this up in the hiring process for a remote job when they expect you travel a handful of times a year? I’m afraid if I say anything that I’d never get hired.
I’m about to start working in audit at a top 10 firm as an A1. I want to get into FDD soon and most people said after a year of audit I’ll have a good chance. Any thoughts? I have my cpa done, just missing the work experience and I’m already starting to network (looking to switch into big 4)
I’m interviewing a senior tax associate position at BDO, 2 years prior big 4 experience. What salary should I be expecting? LCOL like 80~85 index.
Has anyone had an experience where they switched big 4 and ended up being such a good decision? Trying to get some light
Folks hoping to get some input from your experiences and the immigration professionals in this bowl. My sister is working out of Chicago and GC recruitment campaign failed. Similar campaign passed in Denver office and she was included in that campaign and notified that she will have to move offices to Denver. At what point does she have to move? I140 stage or as soon as PERM is approved? Does she have to be there now? Appreciate your thoughts on this matter.
My client ask me today was something factual and told the truth… it was not! My current employer did the work. What would you have said?
Husband is looking at KPMG, EY, PWC, Accenture for compliance and audit positions. Anyone know the travel policies post covid?
Anyone been to the Harvard Extension School - Consultant’s Toolkit program? Any insights to share?
Let’s make a Creative Complaints bowl. A bowl dedicated to venting about what the client/account/pm did today to piss us off.
What is the typical length in time from starting the conversation to receiving an offer when transferring from one big 4 to another?
I'm about to have an interview for a technical accounting & external reporting role (staff/associate level). Can anyone having experience in this role please advise what I should prepare for the interview? Thank you.
Ready to walk away without an exit. Wife and I are comfortable with allocating 6-9 months of savings to find my inner peace and a new job. Any tips?
Sometimes I volunteer to go on business trips I don't need to go on because that hour or two by myself in the hotel room is the only actual vacation I ever get.
Slightly panicking 😳 realized I’m going to be the sole client facing resource for most of next week when my team is on PTO. Implementing two products that I am still learning. Anyone ever experience? How did it turn out?
