Uh oh… there goes another one

funny

Haha same with Houlihan in my location

Apply on their website or have someone refer. Assuming you have some deals experience and decent at what you do you should get in. Just be aware A&M is 50% back to office so you may need to be physically close to one I think

Nothing formal. Sounds like a couple days in the office but will be flexible. I am thinking 1-2. Making A&M money in chicago, Nashville, Dallas, atlanta is already crazy enough

reach out to someone a level above you on LinkedIn in the firm/office you're interested in. talk to them very briefly and ask if they can refer you in

Ask for a referral here after speaking with them.

How long have you been in FDD?

If you have FDD experience you should just apply directly, assuming you’re a strong performer in FDD.

Hey guys. Really discouraged on my journey in big 4. I feel like I am so stupid. I am on a big team and where communication is not great, my client is complex as they’re FS. I didn’t want to do FS for that very reason as Im not interested. Im lacking in terms of knowing the business and technically too. I had been on path on doing good but now its way below that. Im sad and lost maybe I am not in a service line for me as Im in IT AUDIT. I wish I was smart enough feel like Im gonna be put on PIP

I recently got a verbal from B4 firm but have yet to receive the written (going on 2 weeks now). I have recently received another verbal offer from a different B4 firm. How should I negotiate with the original firm for more $? What would you say? This is my first time switching jobs so fairly new.

New consultant here - when people talk about Strategy & Operations, what exactly is the operations side and what do they do? Coming from the perspective of the B4 firms having the more prestigious S&O group, but also having a separate supply chain/operations group? What’s the difference between the two ops groups?

How much $$ are firms are willing to pay for a consultant with 3 YOE? It seems like a lot of firms are on a craze to hire and poach talent. Trying to judge how much I can negotiate with a lateral move (Big 4), and whether it's worth leaving my very comfortable environment right now. Would appreciate your input - thanks in advance!

Working as an audit staff in big 4 shared service centre. It's been 2 years. I really don't like what I do there, also it seems I won't like what I'll be doing there even after becoming senior. Thinking of leaving and joining industry once ACCA qualified. (One more paper left). But people around me discourage that growth potential and earnings in industry are way less compared to public accounting. I know that too but I still want to leave. I'd like to stick to core accounting. Thoughts pls

Hello all. Recently left an agency position to go back to freelance. Have an idea for a promotional thing to agencies as an experienced freelance copywriter, an ad-industry-specific promo I want to do and need a reality check. When you present concepts (i.e. ad concepts, websites, etc.,) do you use fake body copy? If so, what are the names you call that fake copy? I’ll be glad to share it, but because it would look like some kind of a stealth pitch I’ll wait. Thank y’all.
