I might actually work for the worst partner in BigLaw. Literally tries to crush my soul. And I’m not sure why, I always try to over deliver. I was let go from my firm in September just after finishing my first year there and man finding a new gig with only a year under my belt has been challenging--only one interview with a boutique lined up so far.

Given how junior I am, is it possible for me to apply to entry-level positions citing a desire to switch practice groups? Or am I cursed to ever wait for those rare junior lateral posts?
