I’m a tax senior 1 (will be a senior 2 in October) and just got an offer with a 26% raise at a large public company on their provision team. There’s also an aspect of FP&A and helping with transactions so not strictly tax. All seems super interesting and the team seems great. I really like my EY team and my counselor has talked to me about an early manager promo next year but have never intended to be a PA lifer. Any reason I shouldn’t take it?

I work at an MSP (Managed Service Provider) meaning we are the IT services for many other companies. Hi guys, I need to know something not sure if it is legal. My client wants to hire me directly but I'm at offshore, he says he will give short term onsite for three months and within those days he will try to hire me directly. But i had other plans and have already resigned my LWD is in July but my company has not informed the client yet. I really like the project just moving due to financial need. Pls advise!? Looking to move on from current role however bonus/pay review period in 6 months (base jump likely to be around 10%). Is it better to wait to get the bump then negotiate off that for next role or start looking for roles now and accept if can find a jump of 15-20%? (understand that it might be possible to negotiate sign on to compensate for missed bonus). Any generic rule of thumb / insights that have helped ppl? Leaning towards staying until bonus/pay review period at present. Thanks.
