I have two offers in hand
Product company(Telecom) - 35 L (32.5 L Fixed & 2.5 Variable) + 2L JB
IT Services Company -37.6L (34.4 L Fixed & 3.25 Fixed)
Both are similarly better in terms of compensation structure and Insurance is seperate

YOE: 8 years
Skillset: Solution Architect
Current CTC: 17.4 L (Including Fixed)
Please don't mock or give me unhappy comments !!
My question: The compensation that I have offered is it a great package or a good package.

Can any Capco people advise what the salary jump is from C to SC?
I've seen the glassdoor average but feel this is likely skewed by external hires with higher offers.

Anyone else commission only? My company has some teams commission only but everyone I’ve ever spoken to nowadays has some base salary.

Why are companies not more transparent about salaries? It should be required to list the salary range in a posting. I’m tired of applying to jobs only to find out the salary is way less than I’m willing to accept. This needs to change. Stop wasting applicants time and start including the salary range in job postings!!! Rant over.

Looking at refinancing my home and I’m trying to figure out how to best include additional equity in the equation since I’d go to a shorter term, but effectively keep the same payment ($50 more per month). If I roll all of the closing costs into the loan, I show myself coming out ahead immediately due to gaining nearly $500 in additional equity.

Am I missing something in how I should treat that equity? It seems too good to be true to be ahead Day 1.

A question for the associates:
How should I talk to a new associate on my team (4 mos.) about critical issues including 1) spending too much time on a single project; 2) not meeting expectations in terms of number of billable hours; 3) botching easy procedural issues? This person has significant skills and writes very well.
