I have a offer from a good company for 19 LPA fixed , EOP 6.9 years. I have resigned in Accenture ,but management wants to retain in promising an immediate 2 weeks onsite to Europe. At the same time I will be receiving hike letter this week for promotion to L9 and management informed that I may get upto 40% hike. Current CTC is 12+3 variable. What should I do? (Considering this is my first offer)

I've been in practice for about a year at a high stakes plaintiffs litigation firm. I make $85/year, I'm in the office at 8 and leave around 5:30. I work occasionally on Saturdays. When we have something big coming up, I stay extra to get it done in time. I've never missed a deadline.

I had a meeting this week where the partners told me they questioned my commitment because they were working more hours than me.

Am I the problem here and should work more, or is it time to find a new job?

I did it everyone. Accepted a new job this past week. Salary is 30% higher and if you factor in bonuses between PA and new job, in total it would by like 45% higher than staying at EY. Weird feeling knowing I don’t have a busy season coming up.

I would suggest having a thread or threads about defending socialism against capitalism. In the real world anti-socialist ideas/arguments are made all the time and for those lessed versed in socialist thought, it can be hard to defend one's position and perhaps even be persuaded bythe capitalists. I started a job in May of this year. I’m in need of a major surgery that will take me out of work for 2-4 weeks. Messed up my public trust eqip. Forgot to list an expunged alcohol charge using a fake id I had in college four years ago bc it was expunged. I realize that I was supposed to report this and told the investigator I honestly didn’t remember because of the expungement. Do I have any chance of getting the public trust now? PTO Dilemma: I have over 100 hours of PTO remaining from hours carried over from last year that must be used before 12/31. I scheduled out days to use the hours. However, when I put my scheduled PTO in the Utilization Tracker, and include the Thanksgiving holiday and the Collective Disconnect days, I end up below my utilization target. How is that possible? Is it me or is there really something wrong with how utilization is calculated?-

Spouse is a state department employee and currently overseas.
