I eat. Shit. And work. That's all i do.
I'd agree that you can expect between 90-100. PwC 1, your getting screwed. I'm making just shy of that range as a S3. No way a manager is making 80 unless they are a low performer and managed to still get promoted somehow.
Only decrease by roughly 4,000
No shit. I was going to tell you if it sounds reasonable.
95 for a first year. Likely won't adjust you down if you have good ratings - just no good raises for a while.
PwC 1 you are wrong 80 is way too low. I'm M1 in SE
You're not a M1 in ATL and you're wrong, 95 is way too high
PwC has changed its policy starting March 1st. All transfers are adjusted to the market rate of the market they are transferring in to. They will no longer keep you higher with smaller adjustments for the next few years.
A billion
Poor audit and tax, you guys should come to Advisory...112 as S3. Note, that is the max for senior in my region which is tier 2. M1 is 120. Guess it's also fair because we don't have a busy season, we work too much year round. PS you can call your HR person and they will share salary bands with you for any level/region.
@PwC 1. You are right. I'm an M1 in a smaller market and I exceed your 80k by a lot.
Where are you now?

The question is what is the pay in Atlanta - I'm in a different state
It's around 105 right now as first year manager. Know it will go down
Are you in NYC? That's really high but do they even do pay cuts?
First year managers are around 80k from what I've heard
I have no idea how it varies by rating though
In Wash Metro, not NY. They do pay adjustments I believe
I would expect between 90 and 100. They may adjust you over 2 years.
M1 salary in ATL is not 95
