I am Fresher, I joined HCL 4months back. We all got a mail for hybrid mode work. My work location and client work location is Bangalore. Due to some personal reasons, I can't go to Bangalore. My manager advise me to work on chennai shollinganallur location. But , but for my client resources there is no ODC in Chennai. Is there any common ODC in shollinganallur where I can work?

And even on the B application portal it was mentioned that "Post applied for: C++ Product Development" 1)what is the process in bosch that once placed do they put developers on random technology or technology assigned based on skill set only? 2) Do they have project on .Net ?Bosch Global

Wait so 30% more than what you currently make? That sounds like a really good jump to me. This is good right?
This %age thing of the previous drawn ctc should not be a deciding factor for the salary. It should be a combination of the person's knowledge, experience, ability to learn/grasp new things, will, hunger, etc should be the things to be considered apart from the budget for that particular position.
The starting salary in most of the service based companies have been same since more than a decade. If someone starts at 3 lpa, than 30% hike is not much of a difference. However, if someone's salary is 20 or 30 lpa, than 30% is a significant hike. So the so called big %age hike makes sense only if your current CTC is good enough.
Another thing is inflated CTC figures, which has various components in it. Even if someone's CTC is 30 lpa , it is possible that his/her take home monthly is just around 1 lpa. The monthly take home is what matters to the employee. I have seen scenarios where employee got a certain hike in CTC but his actual take home salary got reduced.
A 30% hike is bad?
It not bad at all, but then times have changed, the package that is received during job entry is only the good part,the hikes after that won't be great that's why I like to bargain
