Salary range for 2nd year boutique IB analyst. Yr 1 was $105k base with $10k sign on and 30-40% non discretionary. For context, I’m the sole analyst at the moment and have taken on many senior analyst/early associate tasks regularly the last 4 months (5 current engagements) MCOL

I feel like market is kinda different for boutique but normal seems to be $120k-$125k base with anywhere from 50-90% bonus. For you I’d target something similar. Someone may be able to speak closer to boutique pay

Thank you, I had 120k to 130k with 40-80% bonus in my head so this is extremely helpful. Thanks for taking the time to give a comment

Hi, do you mind me asking how many hours you work per week?

Got an offer from a large tech PE company for their value creation team. Team is relatively experienced - however, their offer is lower than my current salary as a consultant at a T2 firm. I’m highly valued at my firm and my trajectory is already fast tracked. Would it make sense to leave in this case for the mere name recognition of this PE fund?

Hello all, I have two offers :-
1) General Ledger and Fixed assets Analyst at ChargePoint- 10 L + RSUs

Hi everyone, I’m an architectural designer (from Europe) with 1.5 yrs experience. I’m working for a practice in San Francisco, full-time from the office, getting 25 an hour. It is so expensive to live here, I am struggling to make things work. Is this a normal salary for someone of my experience or should I ask for a raise? I don’t want to be greedy but it’s so expensive out here… Thank you 🌈

Assuming this causes a recession like in 2008, and many people get laid off, how long to take to find another similar paying job? I’m currently a strat manager in FS. Scared for job.

I’ve interviewed and got offers at just about every place I applied (tops jobs that I actually qualify for), frankly I switch jobs often because I love interviewing and getting the jobs. I’ve done a lot of free helping friends and friends of friends but would love to make some money and help other at the same time by coaching them. Just curious how would people be willing to pay and for what? I’ve thought about maybe a “pay only if hired” approach

Hi Fishers kindly help with in hand salary after deduction.

Hi guys. I have 2 tax senior offers one from EY and one from a top 20 midsize firm but they’re in 2 diff lines of tax. The EY one is for 1120/ASC740 work and the midsize is for HNWI/trust/estate PCS work. I’ve never done Corp compliance before but I do have 1040/1120S/1065 experience. Do you guys have any advice? What to expect, what kind of exit opportunities there are, etc ? I know the midsize has better WLB as well

Currently a Wealth Advisor for Citi but I honestly hate it here with a passion it’s the worst company I’ve ever worked for in my life and I’ve been in Wealth Management in the banking channel for over a decade. Series 7, Series 63, Life, CFP, ChFC, and soon to have my MBA with a focus in Mergers & Acquisitions. I’m look to enter another area of Finance at this point instead of starting over somewhere else from scratch, but not sure what direction to go. Interested in Investment Banking or M&A.

Hi everyone, I’m in asset management at a real estate firm with 2 years of experience in my current role and 5 total years of experience in finance. What should my comp range be?

Curious what’s a fair salary in MA? Was just told that there is likely not going to be a chance for a raise during my upcoming performance review due to my salary already being “above average for the industry” based on my employer’s questionable research. I’ve been with the company 8.5 years & am the only one in my role, which they can’t operate without. I execute tasks from two investment advisors and two financial planners - they make the decisions of what should happen & I make it happen.

Anyone here a Client Onboarding Associate for an RIA? We have YE reviews coming up soon. I’m pretty sure I am a shoe in for a promotion, but in case I don’t get it (god-forbid), what is the going salary for this position? I would definitely ask for a raise and a merit bass bonus, so I want to gauge what you all think a good salary is for this role. Any thoughts? Oh! I am also based in NYC.

I have an offer and want to negotiate

1. London base salary but I have to absorb all the expenses (train + stay)
I am thinking to negotiate to

2. home base salary and have my expenses paid for

I know that's depends on the amount I have to travel (and potentially stay) but at the moment this is unknown. Past 8 months was just twice a month + 2 nights stay.

The only thing I know is it won't be every week, the return trian ticket is about £80-100, depends I could plan ahead.

I am a registered sales assistant which means I have my series 7. I also have the 63 and my Life & Health license. I was a financial advisor but the role is commission only so I decided to take a role as an assistant for some time to learn etc. I really like my role, but I only make 32k a year and after taxes I only take home about 25k. I have a gut feeling that I’m not being paid market value but it’s tough to find comparable salaries. Do you think $15.38/hr is a fair wage in this case?

Boston SFA 5 years exp (Corporate finance). My research shows 110-120k for comp range. Does that sound right to others here?
