What is it like at mcgarrybowen Chicago?

I am due to take 2 weeks parental leave sometime in the next month and have an offer lined up. Is it better to tell the new place I would prefer to push my start date to take my leave and join two weeks after (accounting for 2 weeks of notice when I get back)? Would that be burning a bridge with current firm (taking leave and giving notice as soon as I am back)? I want to avoid losing 2 weeks of salary during that time if I can.

Been in a bad place in life for 2.5yrs with career regrets, no friends/ community, family in distance, romantic disaster. All my areas in my life have been in decline except family. My identity is collapsing and getting myself out of bed is a huge struggle. Just felt like sharing.

What’s the better Priority Pass lounge at O’Hare Int’l? Air France or Swissport?

Any advice on getting a sales job in tech industry without having to take a pay cut? I’m currently working for a service company upselling/cross selling an account list as well as searching for net-new clients. I manage a book that generates around $2m annually. I’m a top performer where I’m at currently but everything I’ve seen that has ever even considered me was a pay cut or maybe the same. Is there anyway I can transition into a tech company that wouldn’t mean taking a cut? 70k base 140k OTE

Is it weird to leave a job without expressing you are unhappy to any managing partners before hand? I actually think they will be shocked if I gave my two weeks and I think my biggest worry is that I am going to be killing my group if I leave with all the matters they will need to take on. But the firm has just been brutal during COVID with no acknowledgment at all (money or otherwise) of all the extra work associates have been putting in.

Additional Posts in Jobs in Healthcare

Hello, looking for supervisor positions in healthcare within NYC, I am looking to start ASAP. I have my Bachelors in Health Services Admin and Economics, 5 years of experience in the industry and I am currently working towards my PMP certification, as well as going for my MBA or MHA, depending on what program I can afford. I am currently located in Queens. Thank you!

Job base salary presented by HR during screening interview was $130-$145k. I have 3-5 years more experience and more education compared to the posting requirements (BA required, I have a MS). I love the position and what it entails, but was hoping to reach $150-$160 base salary. If offered the position, is this a reasonable ask? This is for big pharma, data analytics in New England.

I just accepted an offer in writing. The new job will start the background check next which I’ve been told it may take a while to complete. My start date at the new job isn’t until 2023 so there is some time for me to turn in my notice. I don’t anticipate any hiccups in the background check but is it wise to wait until the background check is complete before turning in my notice?

Have any beside nurses attempted to transfer to an outpatient/care coordinator position? Did you get a pay cut? Was it worth it? Any regrets? Cost of living is crazy these days. I got offered a position and the cut was 8 dollars less per hour. I felt offended. I was basically a new grad salary.

Hi all,
Please help me understand if I should accept this position or not?
I was working as a regular staff therapist for 2 years at an assisted living when just 2 weeks back the HR approached me with an offer to work at a newly opened senior living, so basically I will helping them set up that location from scratch, open it and get it running. For doing all this they have not even clearly offered me a promotion, raise or a change in position. What should I do?

Please help🙏🏻

Looking for a remote job paying at least 40k. Currently unemployed due to unpredicted move to San Antonio. I’m in need of a job as soon as possible. I am a quick learner and currently in school to earn my CCMA with medical billing and coding (CPC). Anything helps 😊 TIA!

Any Med Express or other Urgent Care Managers out there? Is it worth it? Is pay decent? Etc. I have a BA in Healthcare Administration and Management and 3 YOE as a PCP office manager, 5.5 YOE in Healthcare altogether.

*Keeping an eye open for new opportunities*
I have my Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration along with 13 years of experience in healthcare. My experience ranges from medical coding, biller/AR specialist, patient financial advocate, and since 2019 my role is in the Quality department as a health care data analyst.

Hi, I graduated with a bachelor in Healthcare Management and I currently work for McKesson Canada as a team lead for patient services. I am thinking about doing a masters degree in either Healthcare Management or Public Health. Which one should I go for? MHM/MHA or MPH?

Hi! I'm currently interviewing (3/6 interviews so far) for for an appeals manager role for DME. The job entails not only to bill for dme (cms 1500) but also to follow up on any denials or appeals, amongst other administrative duties. My questions are is it typical to have 1 person doing both the billing and denials within a new vertical for all ins.? How difficult is billing for dme as I only have experience in gyn onc and lactation billing? What's a fair salary? I have 8+ yoe in rcm, no certs.

Hello, I’m currently looking for a non clinical position in the Charlotte area, more in the public health field. Does anyone have any referrals or info on any jobs?

Good morning!

Still trying to figure out this whole Fishbowl thing, so here goes my first post.

I would love to get into provider credentialing, but all employers I've looked at want at least 3 years of experience. So, I'm looking at Provider Network Coordinator roles, because I'm finding some of those roles don't need AS MUCH experience. I'm a RHIT, and have been working in healthcare for nearly 10 years.

Any input on employers is appreciated!

Anyone know of any tech jobs out there that seem complex? Ones that someone can do with zero schooling but lots of experience behind them?

Hello, I am looking for a job change. Preferred position Clinical data Manager/ lead data manager. Any leads would be helpful

So I’m thinking of taking a pharmacy tech course at my local community college. I already work in healthcare on the admin side (authorizations, front desk etc) & looking to get a certification that’s quick & don’t have to go back to school. How is it being a tech in the hospital setting? What other paths are there for techs? How much can you make? Or are there any other short certifications that would make more money?

I've been working in the NHS as an orthopaedic surgeon for over 10 years. I have recently made the transition over to industry working for a pharmcovigilance and certification body TUV SUD. Early signs are great. I know several clinicians who are currently advocating the overworked underpaid mantra and would like a referral. Let me know if you are keen to hear more.

Is there anyone who is @cvshealth who would not mind giving me a referral? I have applied to a Senior Manager Quality Improvement Actives position. I would love an opportunity to interview to better demonstrate the value I can add to the organization. Thanks I’m advance!
