Hpw hard is it to crack into the supplement/wellness industry? I've seen a lot of people on social media go this route, and I'm very into fitness so it's something that interests me. Does anyone have any intel?

I'm currently in a process for senior associate at a Big4. The process began on July, yet between the first and second interview it took like 3-4 weeks. And between the 2nd and 3rd like 7 weeks. I sent an email to HR during those weeks asking for an update and didn't have an answer. Then it a 3rd one was scheduled three times (the manager didn't connect to the first 2) and next week I have the last interview with 1 partner. Is the timing normal? Or were they looking for other candidates or what?

Currently interning in a MCOL city but want to move to NYC right after graduating college one year from now. However, the partner recommends I stay in current city for 1-2 years before moving/transferring offices. When did you move to NYC? Would you guys apply at one of those companies that did a mass lay off and then started to recruit again for the same positions? For anyone who receives a quarterly bonus or raise in some form, does your employer start to schedule you for less hours when your raise kicks in, or pull you from a future schedule entirely once you receive a bonus; only to put you back on once the hours you would have worked and earned the amount given are passed? Ie; a part time employee getting $200.00 in a quarterly bonus and then not being scheduled a whole week during a bi-weekly pay period where they would have earned more on the clock…?

Inflation costs are killing my pipeline. Many of my deals are scaling back greatly because of their rising operating costs.

How do we overcome the inflation objection? I mean obviously the answer is to show how much value we offer, but how do we do that when all of the companies we work with barely have enough funding?

They need our services, which is at least some job security, but their scale back is greatly affecting our projections and quota attainment.

I’m so done with sales. I’m burnt out and uninspired with my job. The pay is nice, but I need something more fulfilling and less stressful. I want to be able to keep working while I figure out my “why” but I don’t want to rip my hair out in the process. *7 YOE, 6 mid market, 1 enterprise* Any ideas for an easy transition job away from sales that isn’t a giant pay cut?

My company covers in depth results each week, including meetings set/attended, wins, revenue, retention etc. I feel as if evaluating in such depth is detrimental to the psyche, as you never get to “ride the high.” In addition, some weeks are simply slower than others, and it’s not always representative of what the results at the end of the period or quarter will be. Is this not a big deal, and I’m I placing too much importance on it? Or is it beneficial to review results less frequently?

Applied for a role as a director of sales with a medical company and got past initial screening and interviewed quite well with VP of sales. He stated he will tell recruiter to reach out and set up 2nd interview. Although within holiday week they stated they're looking to fill void asap. Has been over a week and still no email/phone call follow up by company recruiter. Kind of a cause of concern some might say a lil unprofessional to not hear any communication whether nay of yay.
