Hi Amazonians,
I am looking for guidance.
I am going to start interview process with Amazon next week. Probably all rounds will be done in 1-2 day time frame.
How/what should I prepare for interview?
Am clueless on what kind of ds & algo questions, system design questions are asked in Amazon interviews.
My techstack: javascript developer- react+Angular.
1. Pls guide me on what/how to prepare?
2. Also, will the interview be solely on da & algo and javascript; or on Js frameworks?

Not to me. Sales is sales. In fact, to the contrary, if you can prove success in different sectors and/or industries, wouldn't that only make you that much more valuable?
Love this feedback - thanks!
I think if your why is genuine it can be a good thing, “seeking professional development” etc
It can but it is all in your career direction and objectives. I say “it can be” only as some areas are specialty sales if you decide to go back it can be disruptive.
Not necessarily. In some cases, it can be a bonus. It helps if the industries are somewhat related, but if you are a good closer and good salesperson in general that will always shine though.
What specific roles do you have in mind? In my opinion, it won't affect you that much. I mean you'll probably be asked of the reason why you switched but you can always justify that.

In the early days, I did it every job for 15 years. You get a nice broad understanding of different organizations' issues, but it's really hard to do.
Essentially if you are a sales pro demonstrating your ability to traverse industries displays you have the core mechanics of being in sales! My perception is that if anyone would pigeonhole you for adapting to alternate verticals doesn’t understand sales. Like dev ops - no one expects the individual to be in a single business vertical - only that they know the core mechanics of software development. Many HRs are tasked to seek talent in specific industries but having the appropriate onboarding & generalized training of the business would allow you to be successful as a sales executive in any industry.
It will not look bad. Be confident that your qualitative skills transfer between industries. The low hanging fruit in the interview process is to say they are worried about industry knowledge. Often it’s just a test, make sure they know you’ve done it before, you know what it takes to become an expert in a new field, and you are know how to succeed base on your experience.
