Hi Folks, I submitted documents 2 weeks ago for BGV in Tech Mahindra. I have not got any response so far from HR. However, last week they scheduled another interview and dropped me email just before 15 mins, yet i joined the interview but no one joined from their end. Now, HR is not responding. Hi All,
Need suggestions here. Please help me out. I was interviewed with IBM and got selected. Waiting for offer letter. Meanwhile got selected in another company and got offer too. Put down my ppr. Offer from another company is way beyond than IBM almost 22% more in terms of fixed. Now I’m confused that once IBM releases their offer then should I ask them to match with my holding or not ? Will they consider for negotiations? What’s your thoughts? IBM

I’m curious how you’re going to be able to handle not only that interview, but also the day to day job of a Salesforce Architect, with that limited exposure to the platform.
I’d be seriously concerned about being set up for failure.
I agree. However I’m interviewing for technical arch. I do have a significant amount of trails I’ve completed. Have good working knowledge on demandware and cloudcraze.
Honestly I expect Solution Architects to be able to build whatever they design so having a great understanding of the platform, specifically a cloud that you specialize in would be major. An admin cert is not enough.

I will add that it’s not uncommon for TAs hired by salesforce to come from a different technical background. Strange to me but they may want you to guide high level conversations and workshops/strategy, not just day-to-day work. That being said, please don’t try to override your partner all the time and trust them to know the product well.
Honestly as an architect, I would be insulted if my company hired another architect with almost no experience/1 cert.

Imagine being a customer paying $300/hour for a Senior Tech Arch from Salesforce, and getting someone with no Salesforce experience….yikes
Exactly. Or those few who have dedicated their whole careers, done all the hoops to become CTA and then someone just randomly exudes they can’t be a salesforce TA as well? I doubt this person make it through panel but good luck
What position is this for manager or senior con.
It’s a individual contributor role. Either manager or senior manager depending on how well I interview.
Salesforce is hiring ppl without salesforce experience as TA .I have one in my team
How is that possible? I’ve tried with SF experience and certifications and even other Oracle Siebel CRM experience I never get contacted for a call
