I have it. The Samsung Smart TV UI is the most atrocious, slow POS I’ve ever used.

10/10 would recommend assuming you need an Apple TV or FireStick to make it not awful.

TV is good otherwise. Speakers are pretty solid, too.

like

Is there much of a difference between those models and something like a Q80T series?

Has anyone bought the Q90A?

The “Smart UI” will drive you insane when after the second time the TV turns on by itself and starts playing Serious Chef or some random Chef show with ads

Second the comment about Apple TV
I haven’t seen a Samsung Chef Show or advertisement on my tv since connecting the Apple TV

I have 2 and they’re great for the price. I don’t have as much of an issue with the Samsung UI but use the fire stick 9 times out of 10.

Folks recommending Fire stick/Apple TV could you please elaborate why? Is it because of the navigation? Do I need these devices to even watch something like a Netflix or Amazon Prime?

No. Samsung has those apps natively. Samsung UI isn’t great so using a fire stick is a cheap way to get a better UI.

I use my fire stick to VPN into other countries’ Netflix and OTT providers too.

Am I allowed / is it okay to get a vaccine in NYC if I currently take several super-potent topical corticosteroids? Technically they’re listed on the list of eligible co-morbidities and recently a ton of zip-code restricted appointments just opened up in my area (which is an area hard hit by Covid), but conflicted about if this counts as an underlying condition...

Anyone leveraging Sap Leonardo ? What about sap + blockchain ? I am about to resign from Deloitte, worked as an sap consultant ( security) for several years, looking to pickup new tech skills.

Which will be good between JPMC and Nagarro ( permanent wfh)?
Both are providing almost same package.

Please suggest.

I've worked at the same engineering firm for 4 years. I'm currently making $161k with only a $750 bonus, but excellent vacation (4 weeks, cash out anytime, rolls over indefinitely), 45 hours a week. I have an interview with a recruiter at Guidehouse this week for a Technical Project Manager role. It seems to be focused in the government space and requires a security clearance. What sort of salary and benefits could I expect for this sort of role at Guidehouse?

One of the reasons I want to transition from industry to consulting (tier 1) is that I get frustrated when I have to collaborate with mediocre people. My assumption is that Tier 1 consulting firms hire really sharp people and if I can get in, I’ll be collaborating with folks on top of their game (not expecting much from clients). I’m aware there are personal aspects I need to work on like my mindset, patience etc etc, but I just get so frustrated with blatant stupidity.

Can anyone offer some tips and advice on completing take home cases? Microsoft is requiring one for a business strategy position and I have no idea what to expect. Thanks so much!!
