My husband taught high school. AP chemistry, AP Physics, AP biology. His go-to during break? Days of Our Lives! His mom used to watch it, so he knew all the characters and back stories.
I just let him watch…

An oldie but goodie, that was one of my mother’s favorites she enjoyed watching back in the day.

Hallmark for me! Watching Christmas movies. You have an amazing break.

Have several books to read over break but can’t concentrate that long!😩
My great alternative is binging on reality tv shows. I don’t watch a ton of tv but I’m seriously getting into Married at First Sight. What an interesting social experiment.
I also love 90 day fiancé and I’m starting to get into Sister Wives.
My husband just looks at me like 🥺 but doesn’t say a word lol

He wasn’t the only one, years ago I taught next to an older man teacher who was addicted to soaps! He taped (VHS) them when he was in season coaching!

Just needing a safe place to vent. We were extra vigilant about the holidays with our two kids under the age of 5 requiring everyone to test and be vaccinated and keeping our gathering extremely small. Nope…not enough. We are now quarantined because my kids can’t be vaccinated and are too young to wear masks. Thankfully my husband and I can rotate parental obligations so we can work, but I’m exhausted and it’s year end so extra busy.

Have virtual interviews tomorrow and Friday (both with same company) - I know 150% if I got an offer, I would not accept. Had a ton of coaching meetings this week regarding a different offer I’ve been considering and I don’t want to leave my current place of work. Cancel tomorrow and Friday interviews or no cancel and potentially get an offer and decline? (I am fairly busy so biggest opportunity cost is my time and having to wfh to do video interviews during the workday)
