I left PwC tax and joined a Tier 2 firm for some work life balance but my work life is worse than PwC. Plus I find the leadership has lost all direction and suddenly it’s in a downward spiral. I felt I should go back to PwC if they would take me back. Is this a good idea? Your thoughts

How is work life balance on DOD consulting projects? Same pace as any other government projects? Thinking of jumping from commercial.

Has anyone moved from tax or audit into an outsourcing position? I enjoy the work, but I would like to get down to more manageable hours and have a more reasonable work/life balance. There is still some overtime, but not the 15+ weeks of grinding out work at 80 hours/week.

I’m at a mid-size litigation firm (mostly med mal defense) and really like it, but the pay is a bit low. Huge quality of life benefit though, 7 min from home and lots of flexibility (wife and I have a toddler). A co-defendant firm called and offered me a position at significantly more pay (like double), but the commute would be 1 hour. What would you do?

PWC AC Kolkata UK team is the worst team.

They put a status call at 10 in the morning and expect to work throughout the day till 9PM with all the calls at night

If someone logs off at 8ish also. It is considered as early off. One the worst work life balance ever in UK supporting organisation.
