Saw a undergrad tuition at a private university in ny-51k tuition, R&B of 18k and fees of 1k, for a total of 70k per year. How can people afford this? What is going on with our education system.

As long as kids can access federally backed loans without virtually any limits, universities will charge whatever they want.

I’ve done a lot of HERON engagements. Let’s it put it like this, 16 year olds w/o fully developed brains should not be able to mortgage their lives away like this. When I have kids, I would discourage them from A) going into accounting, B) going to a 4 year. I know peers that got AA’s in comp. sic. + boot camps making 30% more than me an the entry level. We’re in profession that doesn’t pay us enough given the technical nature of our work...

Foreigners are probably paying 150% of this

It’s private loans causing the problems. Federal loans have limits.

I’m in the Public Sector group and only audit HERON and it’s sad so see all of the loans these kids take in order to pay college. The worst part is saying the ANNUAL increase on tuition and other fees, which btw is not due to inflation...

Dad’s a cardio god. He paid for it like the $5k a month I used to get👌

Did anyone force students to go to a $70k / year a school and go deep into debt? No. Yes it's stupid to pay that much, but guess what? There's always people who will pay for something insane.

Hello Fishes,

Recently I was promoted in my current org and got salary revision. Along with it I was giving interviews. Now after clearing all rounds company X has asked me to submit documents to move forward. I doubt company X will try to push back as I got a hike recently in my current org. How shall I handle company X??

Left my first job after just shy of two years because I was bored. Have been at my current job for about half a year and it’s a great resume builder but an absolute horror story (long hours, unreasonable clients, tons of weekend work that’s not worth the pay). If I left in a few months, at the 10 month mark, would that significantly hurt my chances of getting a strong exit opportunity? Partners or whomever can help me understand about billing and hours. To keep things simple, let’s say you only have one staff to work 1,700 billable hours a year on a $60k salary and you have only one job that and the rate charged to the client is $300/hour and an projected hours budget of 1,700 hours. So ideally you would have revenue of $510k. If the staff takes less time partners make less money and if they take more time partners make more money while the staff keeps the same salary?
