Accenture fixes what Cap Gemini botches.
We compete directly with Accenture and Big4 for lots of the work we do. We don't do as much pure strategy as MBB, but it does come up sometimes. Glassdoor salaries are totally off.
Careful about Capgemini (blue logo = IT implementations) vs. Capgemini consulting (strategy & management consulting)
I've worked with Cap service delivery from India, not good. Cognizant is up and coming if you want to go to an Indian based firm. Not sure what their presence is like in the states though
They make their money as the low cost provider of services. How much money do you think you can make there 🤔?
Not trying to fire shots but let's not mince words. I get the logos are different but it feels odd you stopped there rather than talking about the differences in work. Also Glassdoor shows Cap pays less than S&O-type consulting at B4--SC makes $100K and VP makes $310k in NYC?
EY sold its original consulting arm to Capgemini btw
Yeah but how many are still there? That was a LONG time ago.
@CG - is senior consultant the title for someone with 2 years experience? Noticed one of my LinkedIn connections hit SC two years out of undergrad
Bruhhhh don't go to Capgemini. You might need some Hindi lessons on the side.
That could depend on multiple factors. One of which is salary demands, and the other is perhaps industry experience/connections. I've noticed at Uncle D the recruiters base the proposed levels on salary history and lowball like crazy. Experienced hires from industry get screwed. As do H1B hires.
SCs at Capgemini either have an MBA (or other graduate degree) or were hired as a staff consultant then promoted, in which case they earn less than SCs with an MBA.
