Saw the e-Tron GT in person, looks like a hot wheels car. All the black plastic makes it look more Kia than Audi… and nowhere near as nice as the Taycan.

Agreed, seen a few now and they did not impress at all

like

Interesting. I actually think it looks better than a Taycan

like

Hopefully we will see deep discounts

Saw one in a parking lot for the first time over the weekend. I thought it looked decent in the flesh and obviously an Audi

I went to a Porsche dealership event at a local track. If you're going to do a Taycan, don't do the base model. It's slooooow

I left an agency job that I loved for “my dream job” in-house. It’s been a few months, but I’m really missing my old job. I feel silly for leaving it, esp because I’m realizing my “dream job” isn’t doing it for me, despite it paying much more than my old job. What do I do?

How do you all navigate that time of night when you hit a wall because you haven’t been drinking, but you’re friends are staying out? I’ve just been going home. But I’m in my mid 20s, and feel like I’m missing out on some friend bonding time. I suppose the answer is to just bond at different times of the day, and revolve my relationships around non going out environments.

Hey fishes!

I’ve got a quick question. Does companies allow people to work on another part-time projects (freelancing), during their employment? Most companies have restricted their employees to be involved in such side gigs, right?

Then how do people freelance? They do it without letting the company know?

Does anyone have any experience about the Nissan Leaf? Looking to get a basic electric car to do my local miles (about 10 k a year) and don’t need anything fancy in terms of speed, looks etc. specifically looking for reliability and range of 150-200 miles without breaking the bank and the leaf seems to be the least expensive car out there after accounting for federal rebates. Or are there better options? Will keep my ICE SUV for longer drives. Most charging will be don’t at home overnight.

Buy/lease now or defer to Q1-2023?

My car broke (engine seized, 10y old). I am interested in 530i ($62k price), however 3year lease is $1,000+ monthly (with $5k down). Monthly lesse payment is 50% more than bmw advertised offers (“south FL dealers are not participating in the program”)

Q to car gurus/experts- should I defer purchase/lease for 6 months? My logic, the impending recession will reduce demand and we will go back to more balanced market (lower prices with negotiation).
