I’m shocked that the DA’s office can decline to prosecute so easily! According to the doc, the prosecutors explained that bc they didn’t believe the victim “beyond a reasonable doubt”, they couldn’t in good faith try to convince a jury to do so. Is that really the standard for declining to prosecute a case?

I work at a firm that is predominantly white. We live in an area that's predominantly Hispanic, but they don't speak Spanish. I do and I'm always used as a translator. It's very annoying because I don't even get brought it on the case. They only want me to translate or talk to witnesses and that's it. It takes me away from my real work.
