I think the obvious answer would be non-MBB or T2 consulting firms. People like to be mean, but Deloitte would be a fine option. Just take a look at LinkedIn. We are a decent feeder into MBB at the “experienced” hire level.
I would be more than happy at Deloitte Consulting. They got some good stuff going on.

I was an intern at last month in a boutique Brazilian firm. Just joined Oliver Wyman (T2) and refused BCG offer.
Best job you can get to join consulting at MBB/T2 is consulting indeed. Idk which one specifically, since it's really location-depentend, but a good Big4 job/boutique firm can def help you.
Outside consulting, I think the best would be IB. But people generally doesn't go to IB thinking about pivoting to Consulting (rather the opposite tbh)
If you still want to do consulting then consider b4 consulting, or RSM/grand thornton/BDO.
Depends on your current major/interests viability. Anything technology such as data and analytics or cloud are my go to. But also depends on if you want to be more of an industry focus or not etc.
I just got a job at T2 and before slalom came from industry and a non target school. I would say if you really want it and put the work in you’ll make it. Get a lot of referrals and do 30-40 cases before you interview
