Has anyone interviewed w Deloitte in the past few weeks for experienced hire roles? What’s the process like, and how long did they take to get back to you in between stages?
In a panel interview, What kind of questions do you ask associates at the end of an interview? I am prepared with questions for the partners, but what do you really ask the senior associates in the team?
What's a reasonable amount of time to ask for before accepting a written offer at one agency while having additional interviews scheduled for another?
I've been in my current role for one month plus. I am ready to shift gears. The work is not challenging at all. Just filling out precedents and provided no guidance whatsoever. We are overworked and under paid. I no longer like capital markets. If I start applying for jobs, would it look bad that I'm leaving so soon?
Is it easier to get into McKinsey right now? Assuming obviously you perform decently well in interviews.
What's the best way to signal to recruiters that you're looking around, other than directly applying to positions?
Hello, I havw an upcoming interview for a Solution Architect role. Anyone able to offer pointers from the interview and how I should better prepare?
Anyone know if there’s some secret to actually getting an interview with Disney?? I’ve reached out to a recruiter before and she said they only accept applications that have been submitted through...
How would you go about telling a company you don’t want to do anymore interviews? I was originally told probably two or three, then “one last one”, and now “potentially two more”. In each interview, they talk like I have the role and keep asking how much notice I would need to give as if they’re in a rush to get me in, but then schedule another round of interviews. Honestly the interviews seem more like meet and greets. Cont.
Applying for jobs and seeing that depression and anxiety is listed as a disability. I’ve been diagnosed for depression/anxiety for 5 years, I take pills and it is not a significant stopper in my life. Should I be marking that I do have a disability? What are the pros/cons from a hiring perspective (I know they say it doesn’t matter but I don’t trust people)
Zoom interview for a job I don’t have any real experience for. They have my resume. Do I cut right to it that I’m not specifically qualified but eager and able to learn? Or skip over it assuming they’ve seen my background and are still interested enough to interview, fake it til you make it style?
Had a final round at BCG last Friday. After the interviews they said that the would release results today. Then I got an email today saying they will only give the results on the next Friday. What could have happened?? I also know some people how interviewed on the same day as mine and got a rejection email today.
I have a callback interview tomorrow with 4 attorneys but still haven’t received the names of any of them. Is it weird/too late to email and ask who I’ll be intervening with?

Anyone know the best way to stall a recruiter? The recruiter for company A just reached out saying that they’d like to bring me on and would like to discuss an offer, but I would prefer an offer from company B and I have a final interview with that company B next week. Should I Just be honest? Or delay my response until after the interview?
I don’t see myself wanting be in International Tax the rest of my life. Idk if they will let me switch either. What should I do?
I hear transitioning at the M/EM level at MBB & OW is a nightmare. Is it the same for S& and EYP? Curious if it’s just this level where it is hard to switch firms.
How to get the attention of my boss for a promotion when he's working from a different state and I'm in NYC? All communications are through skype, phone etc.
IAH...worst airport ever?

Anyone looking for an apartment with a den for WFH? I locked in a great pandemic deal on a 1 bed + den on the Dorchester/Southie border til next Sept and now have to move for work. Looking for someone to take over my lease. Prices have gone up on their website but they didn’t raise my rent when I resigned ($400 below their rates for newbies at the moment). DM for pics/deets.
Anyone have experience in both biglaw and government? Started out in govt and always wondered about the pros and cons of working at either (eg. firm has higher comp, more resources and training, more variety of work, gov't has more predictability and stability and public service mission).
Which Big 4 has the least layoffs right now on the West Coast? If so, why? More clients, hired just enough, realistic goals, etc...?
I left my former employer in Q4 2019 but didn’t rollover my Roth 401k prior to the crash, so I’ve left it there this whole time and it’s rebuilt nicely (not back to where it was, but closer)...cont
Am interviewing at small to midsize accounting firms. I have passed my first trimester and am receiving positive responses from my interviewers. At what stage, if any, do I inform potential employers of my pregnancy?
Thoughts on suit + no tie for interviews?
If you leave a local firm and go to big 4, there's an obvious learning curve, no? How have you all seen that addressed if coming in at the SA level from a smaller firm ?
SWEs… do you LeetCode even when you’re not actively interviewing? Like just for fun/keep the skills sharp?
SaaS contract playbooks: Anyone willing to link to good resources or have some tips/best practices (or links) to drafting & negotiating SaaS contracts? I have westlaw, just wanting to read more anecdotal/personal experience type content you’d get from a mentor. Pref for healthcare tech or subscription based resources but any SaaS would be helpful!
Well fuck. I got laid off. Just when you think you’re in the clear, 2020 brings the pain. Guess it’s true that the big title comes with a big target.
My room this year is really warm, what’s the best classroom fan that can cool an entire class?
I’m getting married in 6 months. How can I lose fat in my arms?! I feel like my arms in my stomach are my biggest problem areas. Or at least the ones that make me the most self-conscious. And honestly my stomach isn’t that bad, it’s really just my arms. Any advice would help! I’m 27 with no real health issues other than being overweight, and I’m allergic to fish and nuts if that is helpful. I work out at least twice a week but trying to make it more like 4 for at least for the next three months
4 years at Accenture were stressful, left to go to Deloitte for $22k salary bump and hope for better culture, then COVID layoff happened. If I try returning to Accenture, which is the best division to try returning to (with generic consulting skills) and why? Not looking for "division spirit/pride," looking for insight into which divisions have better pay/culture/WLB/etc. (constructive replies only please, I realize I sound like a 🤡)
