So one of my friends got promoted and I congratulated him and asked how management decided to promote him. He told me but asked me not to tell the others in the group cause they would try and pick a fight with management. I know that salary info causes issues but is it really a thing for people to get worked up over how promotes are chosen? This just seems so strange to me.
I want to get out of recruiting and into something different. Considering HRIS as systems are my true passion. Has anyone else made this transition or have any insight?
While not specifically on his website as a policy, I doubt anyone is surprised by this.
