When making career changes, and leaving one job for another, do you ever struggle with guilt? I always feel super guilty, especially about leaving the managers and team that I worked most closely with. Any advice on this? I know logically it's a good decision career wise, but I always feel bad about who I'm leaving behind.

Anyone make the jump from legal practice to being a professor with a similar pay range? I always thought if I didn’t practice law I would’ve liked to teach. Not sure I can give up the pay I have now, but would be really cool if I could get a gig as a professor that had a similar salary to what I currently net.

For those of you who went out of town but didn’t necessarily request PTO, what did you do in the instance where you had a morning flight which meant missing the first 2-3 hours of work? Did you communicate this to your team, resource manager?

I still plan on making up the missed hours later in the day, I just don’t want to have to communicate it unless I have to.
