Anyone here a Client Onboarding Associate for an RIA? We have YE reviews coming up soon. I was wondering if someone can help me clarify the PA requirements for taking the CPA Test. I have a Bachelors degree in Economics, but no Accounting credits. I was wondering if my 36 credits in ECON, Finance, Business Law classes will qualify me to sit for the test? I fully understand I need 150 for the license, plus 12 accounting credits which I plan on pursuing after passing the tests. The NASBA site says you need 24 credits in the above but it’s not specific.

I remember when I first started working on my thesis project. My adviser asked me to get some funding for it, but he didn't give me any advice about how to do that. He just told me that if I wanted money for my project, I'd have to go through some kind of committee process and submit an application for funding from them. Sure enough, after weeks of writing applications and waiting around for responses from the committee members (who were always too busy), I eventually got approved for funding!
