I try to save so I can FIRE but I'm tempted to splurge a bit on luxury housing in NYC. I have 2 options:

Option 1:
2 bed flex: 1650$ includes all amenities like gym pool etc and I get the main room
But I have to share the common area, bath, kitchen, no Washer dryer in unit

Option 2:
Studio: 450 sq feet, $1995 includes Washer/dryer, gym and amenities $75 extra
Get to live by myself, more modern building built in 2000s

Hi all, doing some travel to countries in Asia and the Middle East that have visas on arrival for my passport type. If for whatever reason I arrive in a country and don’t get a visa (eg I thought it was on arrival but I needed it in advance), anyone know what would happen next? Am I responsible for booking a ticket from that city to the city I was previously in or will the airline just put me on stand by until the next flight out?If anyone has experienced similarly I’m eager to hear how it went!
