Depends on what you’re interested in! Haven’t been to Singapore yet but the Thai islands are breathtaking and definitely worth at least 2 days to themselves. If you’re doing island hopping, go at the crack of dawn and try to go to the lesser known islands. Phi phi and Phuket are becoming overrun by tourists. Bangkok is a bustling city with a ton to do. I would say at least two days for Bangkok, as well. You’ll want to do their chatachuk weekend market and a few open air markets in general. They also have a river taxi that takes you up the canal and you pass by a few temples. The grand palace in Bangkok is also a sight to see! Hope this helps.
Thanks, very helpful! I’m trying to find a good balance because I love cities but realize much of the appeal of Thailand as a destination is the islands and beaches. I’m actually considering doing a 3 day yoga retreat on Koh Yao Noi to meet some people and leave the rest of the trip open from there
I thought two days in Singapore was plenty. There's good food and gardens by the bay are really nice. I personally liked island hopping in thailand more and could have done it longer, but depends on what you like to do on vacation. Didn't do Bangkok so can't say how long to spend there
