Last year I told my class about my partner and it was the best decision ever made. My admins, students, and parents were supportive and had no affect at all. I can’t wait to share my loved ones each year and how I joined a Varsity Gay League Kickball team as well. I even have parents interested in creating a team. So thankful for the community I teach in❤️

My step in laws are TERRIBLE. Not directly to me but family dynamic is stressful. They parent their youngest kid with pills and ignoring him, so that he does inappropriate things around me with zero correction (walking in on me, insulting me). They are all half siblings (4 boys 30-11) so they all don’t care including my partner. FIL also verbally abuses MIL in front of us. Yet they all want to please him constantly. It’s just bad.

I've been with my gf for almost 6 months now. For context she's still in grad school (we have a 2 year age gap) and I'm struggling to feel physically attracted to her. My SO and I regretted getting a dog from the 2nd week we had him. Fast track 6 years, we care about him, but we’ve never been able to shake of this regret (we actually joke around about this till this very day). My biggest gripe is less the cost and the daily care than it is our dog dictating where we can rent. The regret isn’t a daily background feeling, but it comes up strong when apartment hunting. Working remotely for a tech co and still can't get over how much more time I get to spend with my kids. To be honest, this alone is worth so much more than money can buy. For those who plan well, I really think exiting can be worth it if family is a priority. It's really helped my marriage also, I'm a lot kinder to my wife with way less stress.
