Desperate attempt to get an EY summer internship referral. I’m an MS student with 2yoe as a Tech Consultant at Deloitte. The deadline for the summer internships is next week and would appreciate any help I can get🤞🏽
I still cant access my DM’s so please email me dimhara0@gmail.com if you feel like helping a desperate student out:)
How do you navigate getting a referral on a platform like this? Genuinely curious on if HR/Recruiting asks how you know the person you're referring, or if they don't care where the referral comes from.
Really interested in a junior PM role at Razorfish. A close friend currently works for a different Publicis org, so not sure if a referral from them would mean anything.
I applied for some senior positions at AbbVie online 2 weeks ago. The status appears as “resume received” for some positions, status of one position appears as “under review” while another position shows “in progress”. Any idea how long their hiring team takes to get back following the application?

Madeline Mann, creator of Self Made Millennial, provides great resources on how to prepare for interviews. She actually has quite a few short YouTube videos on behavioral interviewing, questions, and the best methods for answering. There is also a video she has on something she calls a BAMF binder haha - I definitely recommend watching that and making one if you can. It helps reduce the nerves when answering questions and it's great to have something that you can actually refer to (speaking from experience).
Nerves are expected, especially for an entry level candidate. You'll be ok, just don't overthink it and be authentic
I would practice talking in the mirror! This has helped me a lot because I also have trouble with stuttering from nervousness. You should also practice questions you think you'd have a hard time answering, just so you feel more prepared and confident when answering them.
