I’m a CPA working in industry. After fully WFH for 2 years, the company is forcing us back into the office. I’ve been so productive and managed my stress so much better WFH. My H1B is not selected in the second lottery. The next lottery is the only option of getting selected. My STEM-OPT will expire in May 2023. I have some questions 1) If H1B gets selected will I be able to work till October 1st (which is when H1B status gets changed) ? 2) My wife will file her I140 in Feb 2023 can she also file H1 EAD along with it? 3) worst case scenario should I enroll in for day 1 CPT program?
