Im a new starter in FDD as a Senior, qualified and am sitting for CFA L2. I want to make sure I'm doing everything right to maximise my chances of landing a FO role in a PE/Fund or ER/M&A role at an BB/EB.
A few I've heard so far:
- Get infra deals exp
- Network aggressively
- Leave within 1 yr

Agencies are desperate to sign people in positions for less money than what the people who are currently qualified for those positions demand.
Nah, people just hustling.
Lying ain't cool, but props to anyone who can speed things up.
Desperate to underpay ppl but give them title boosts? Always.

Yes. The holding company agencies at times recently have had 30 or 40 open positions. They’re struggling hard to attract talent.
The labor market is starting to change, but for awhile there you could get more money and a better title than you normally would.
I can almost guarantee they aren’t getting paid like senior creatives.

Agencies want to to make money off their hires. Therefore, sometimes they’ll hire an “ACD” with zero experience, pay them a mid or senior level salary, then in turn, bill the client for a real, $150K ACD salary so they can turn a profit.
If I was a client and saw my AOR pulling this crap, I’d pull my business immediately
