Seeing the “3% pledge for pay equity” popping up next to agency names here. Interesting that our Global CEO is a woman and don’t see us on that list. We also have the worst parental leave. 🤔

why are you bringing it up here? that's a legitimate question you can ask HR of your company. Speak up because I'm sure you're not the only one that wants it

like

Because HR doesn’t really care. At least when I brought up parental leave. Sure, they say “we’ll look into it” but nothing changes. So need somewhere to vent.

Anyone ever developed brain fog while they were pregnant that hasn’t gone away after giving birth? Hi moms - I had posted earlier about nanny not active with toddler ( toddler bottles up and melts down a lot in the evening), let baby cry etc. I had the gut feeling that she is not the right fit for us and many moms here agreed. I am now trying to tell her that she isn’t the fit for us but this is my first time. Can you provide suggestions how to let go a nanny ? I plan to provide her severance for 2 weeks but I am not sure how to tell her - short and sweet

Has anyone tried EMDR to deal with childhood traumatic experiences? I'm not talking about things like physical abuse etc. but due to separation from parents at a young age which was driven by circumstances and decisions parents made. Due to this, I don't feel much connection with my parents. It has impacted my romantic relationships and causes constant anxiety at work because I feel like a helpless child inside, lack confidence and self worth and fear failure. Appreciate any EMDR experiences.

Anyone know much about routers? My father in Leander has an incredibly fast Asus router, but his home is 7,000 sq ft and the signal completely dies when you go up the stairs to their mother in law suite where their tv is. Extenders don’t work well either. I suggested doing four Google mesh points but he wants to see if he can figure out with his current router. Anyone know how to set up an AiMesh router with Asus?

Our nanny takes my 7 month old out for one, sometimes 2, long walks every day (weather permitting). Love the idea of fresh air every day but its often for several hours at a time and he always returns home crying bc she's pushed him to his limit between feedings. She brushes it off saying hes just fussy which kind of irks me. Im also concerned that he's spending too much time strapped in a stroller. Is it reasonable to ask her to take shorter walks? Am I overreacting?

Tomorrow they are requiring masks again and I was almost in tears when I found out. We have been mask free (recommended) since June and I feel like we are being muzzled again. I am vaccinated, frustrated, and have been off of antidepressants since March. I don’t even want to go into work tomorrow. Anything is better than being virtual and I am trying to look at the bright side, but moving backward still burns. We have parent-teacher conferences coming up and I am hoping that it’s temporary.
