You really think the people commiting these violent crimes are listening to conservative pundits? The reality is, this has been happening for many years, it's only now the media has deemed it profitable to report on
PL1 - that’s fair, but let’s look at who’s doing the real physical attack in on Asians though. It’s the people who are of lower income, education or mental sick. These ppl basically need access to some level of help to stop easily getting brainwashed (aka access to better education or health system). While I agree, we should be giving these anti-immigrant pundits less airtime - that is highly unlikely, because media is a form of free speech that sadly cannot be censored. Now, if ppl have access to cheaper college education or actual mental healthcare support, they can be actual critical thinkers and be able to differentiate the garbage coming out these anti-immigration pundits.
I think it’s less about hating Asians, but rather that Asians are an easy target. There’s the Asian stereotype of holding on to lots of cash and that they normally don’t fight back.
This country needs to reform its media system. Talk radio, cable TV, and online news need to brought under the basic norms of fact-based journalism. Too much opinion and too little facts is the real problem.

So a couple of things. 1.Can you provide data indicating that black perpetrators are doing most of these attacks? 2. If not, why the obsession of saying black people are responsible for this problem? 3. Why not focus on the broader issue that no one should be attacking Asian people over COVID or anything else?
C1 - 1) when did I say anything about black ppl? I’m saying lower income, low education and / or mentally ill ppl. For example, the Atlanta Shooter - if we remove race aspect, he was mentally ill and lower education (he never finished college). In addition, the suburb he came from was of lower income 2) I never said black ppl are responsible. I’m saying if we focus less on race and the actual common denominator, you see low income, low education or mentally ill ppl doing most of the attacking. For example, when was the last time you saw a rich education white or black man attack an Asian man? Never - because they have the help / access to help they need. 3) I am focusing on the issue - I’m saying we need to reform education and healthcare in the country. Imagine putting $0.5B back into Medicaid and that way ppl with mental issues can gain access to help - the ATL shooter and the black man in NYC who attacked the 65-year old may have been avoided. Now, imagine another $1T in education reform where ppl had access reasonable college education without selling a limb to pay, they’d be focused on their career and society vs on media portrayed hate
So misplaced reply, OP. The post that D2 referenced specifically asked about Black people attacking Asian people. I’ve seen several other on FB either insinuating or flat out saying the same thing, and I think that is a wrong headed way to look at it. While the perpetrators may be lower income or less educated, the enablers include a law enforcement and prosecutorial system that won’t call this what it was-a hate crime. Many of those people are college educated, middle class people. So, even placing the blame on a single class of people is misguided. This is a systemic issue

This has nothing to do with race. The media has been posting anti Chinese articles all year. The average American only sees China = bad so Asians = bad.
