Seeing this person and I am already getting way too attached, a simple text from them brightens up my day. I am terrified of getting hurt though, my last breakup was one of the lowest moments in my life. Love sucks.

🥺 been there
not good
mentally pull them back down from the pedestal

yea I feel ya. just treat them as your everyday friend and don’t rush into replying their message (not for playing hard-to-get, but for yourself)

I was in the same situation, got hurt and found someone new. Now I don’t even remember the face of that person who ghosted me and too attached with this new person. So, enjoy today and tomorrow will be even better!

LOL this is me. (The first part, mostly).

Hey, enjoy it! Thinking about what could happen if it doesn’t work out makes you miss out on the magic of the start of a new relationship

Just make sure you're maintaining your own healthy boundaries, OP, whatever those may be. And I'm not saying to block this person out. I'm saying to go forth prepared and taking care of yourself first.

You can’t win if you don’t play

Theres nothing wrong with feeling joy because they reached out to you. Now if youre counting minutes until they do again then yea thats 🚩🚩

Don’t be afraid and enjoy the moment. We all go through heartbreaks at some point in our romantic life, but that doesn’t mean all our relationships will be the same. You can’t project on this person what you went through with the other one. If this is the right one for a longer relationship, you wouldn’t want to push the person away because of your previous hurt and your fears. Just my 2¢.

Chase is the fun.

As someone who just went through this: Don’t let yourself get too attached too quickly. Or at least don’t let them know…

Try not to fall in love right away, you must be a cancer like me 😂😂

Judge me if you want but I find absolutely ridiculous a manager/director who has no idea about what’s happening in their business AND uses the excuse that they are not involved on the “day to day” activities. Seriously, I don’t need you to know the most excruciating detail but know the ins and outs, know how analyze the situations and don’t just delegate things to who’s under you. If I have to do all by myself, I might as well become the manager.

What do you do when you realize accepting that promotion was a wrong decision? You had a lower income (but that you could live ok - without excesses) and not much recognition but peace and complete autonomy over your decisions in the business. On the opposite now, you may make some more money but you have 24/7 headaches, triple of the workload, anxiety, insomnia, a very arrogant manager and little to no indecency. How do you find peace to forgive yourself? How do you cope with that feeling?
