I’d love some help thinking through this. I’m currently renting for $1600 base ($1800 total) and live in the least desirable part of town, and expect it to raise to about $2k/month. I was planning to buy my first property in the city and Airbnb part of it, but it will take me about a year to save up the cash (~$500k starting). Hi everyone - I’m just beginning my career and I’m very proud of the work I’ve done in accepting myself and living openly after having grown up Catholic. Through a lot of self-examination, I’ve started to realize the full extent of the trauma I experienced and held onto from growing up LGBT. I’m honestly surprised that this part of the process isn’t more talked about as it seems to be a relatively common experience. Are there any resources you’d recommend to help with this healing process?
