I have noticed how transactional lawyers seem to have great respect for other lawyers in the field. They always talk about people in other firms as one or more of excellent, hard working, up and coming, very good with X, solution oriented, reasonable, etc.
Litigators, on the other hand, tend to talk about other lawyers in their field as sly, "a fox", aggressive, rude, difficult to deal with, overly adversarial, unethical, with "zealous" often being the most honorific term used.

Hello, I worked 1 year as a 'Senior Data Engineer' at 110k base. I then was offered and accepted a role as 'Service Manager' at 155k base where I worked another year. Just recently accepted a 'Data Engineer' job at 155k base but with a larger company (in theory with potential to grow).

I think I generally do good work… except on one case with one partner. I got added to the case at a crucial moment with no context and no time to get caught up to speed. What I was asked to do was beyond my experience level and it’s been mistake after mistake since then. I just made another mistake this week, which I promptly addressed.
