Seeking advice: I am personally building my first prototype for a product that does not currently exist (read over 250 patents and still looking).

I want to put together small team and together engineer, patent, and sell this invention/business idea to another company. If anyone has experience doing this and would like to share it, I would be very interested to hear your story and perspective. Feel free to PM me

A branded product with some sales might be more valuable. And crowd launch can work if done right. No experience selling just the idea thought. Good luck - hardware is hard.

Not that I’ve done this before but I’m figuring leaving the nest to launch a product with a tech vendor and bring to market through other companies who will rep as their own product or co-brand if they want to collect less revenue-share.

Always up for sound-boarding and brainstorming even if we have no business working together. DM me if you want to jump on an intro call

You're going to have a far better chance at getting a company to acquire it if you're able to develop an MVP and find some early adopters/ customers. Best of luck!

I work for a mid-sized company (almost 500 employees) with a legal team of 3 and am curious about how our approach to contracts compares with others. Every single contract the company signs goes through legal review, and we always have revisions (we have specific terms we typically request). I’m talking every contract, down to the coffee vendor (not to minimize the significance of coffee). Is this normal? Sometimes it feels like a huge waste of time for low-risk concerns.
