I have noticed how transactional lawyers seem to have great respect for other lawyers in the field. They always talk about people in other firms as one or more of excellent, hard working, up and coming, very good with X, solution oriented, reasonable, etc.

Litigators, on the other hand, tend to talk about other lawyers in their field as sly, "a fox", aggressive, rude, difficult to deal with, overly adversarial, unethical, with "zealous" often being the most honorific term used.

Hello, I worked 1 year as a 'Senior Data Engineer' at 110k base. I then was offered and accepted a role as 'Service Manager' at 155k base where I worked another year. Just recently accepted a 'Data Engineer' job at 155k base but with a larger company (in theory with potential to grow).

Got this offer and wondering what it even means. It says it’s 15,000 options. The Options will be subject to a YEAR vesting schedule (25% will vest in twelve months and 1/36 of the remaining 75% shall vest at the end of each of the next 36 months thereafter). Thoughts on if it’s a good offer?
